Part 1: Reflect on your values

15-30 minutes

  • Make a copy of the values worksheet linked below
  • There are two tabs: one for personal values and one for product development values. Considering the context of that tab, rate each value “Very important,” “Moderately important,” or “Not important.”
  • Look for patterns and reflect on them. Which are important to communicate to your colleagues?

Part 2: Draft your User Manual

30 minutes to a few hours

  • Make a copy of the User manual template linked below
  • Write some things. Instructions and tips are in the template document.
  • If you get stuck, you might try one of the online tools that walk you step-by-step through the process.
